I love eating Indonesian food (of course!), but I also love cooking Indonesian food. There are so many styles of cooking and so many fantastic flavours - you need to try it too!
I will share some of my favourite Indonesian recipes in this section, so that you can try them yourself... some are easy and some will be a little bit more complicated; but half of the fun is in the trying... and the other half is in the eating!

Tempeh Mendoan / Fried Tempeh in batter is a very popular Indonesian snack and a delicious street food. It is very easy to make and tastes yummy - enak sekali!
Tempeh is made from fermented soy bean and is available chilled or frozen. A crispy batter coats the tempeh, leading to a fantastic contrast of soft & crispy textures when you eat. I fully recommend trying this snack!

Tahu Isi / Stuffed Tofu is a traditional Indonesian snack and a very popular street food. It is very easy to make and tastes absolutely delicious.
If you have never tried tofu before, or if you think you dont like tofu, this is the snack you must try as it's almost guaranteed to get you hooked! You can change the filling to suit your taste. The crispy batter coating is great and means this snack is best served fresh.
